Microsoft are happy to announce the launch of .toolbox! So, what is .toolbox ? .toolbox is a free online training program where designers and developers can learn to create Silverlight applications using Expression Studio online.

So, what can you do with .toolbox beside create a nice avatar ? There are 2 core learning tracks which is Design Scenarios and Design Principles.

·         In Design Scenarios, designers and developers learn to create dynamically-rich Silverlight applications using Expression Studio. They learn to add code-free functionality to designs by following step-by-step tutorials that illustrate how to create interactive user experiences.

·         Through Design Principles, designers and developers learn fundamental UX concepts like choosing right colors, fonts, and layout, along with tips in how to apply them.

As you learn and pass course evaluations, you also earn badges (total 15 badges) and unlock new design levels to explore advanced courses.
